What is a White Card?

A White Card is required for any workers who carry out construction work. CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry training is a nationally recognised training that is accepted Australia wide and has become the industry standard.

NATIONALLY RECOGNISED TRAINING

The White card has replaced the old Blue card from WA, the Red Card from Victoria and the Green card from NSW. The White Card is nationally recognised by industry and employers Australia wide.

People who require a White Card include but are not limited to:

  • Laborers & trades people
  • People who are required to enter construction zones unaccompanied

About the Training

White card training is aimed to teach participants the basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry.

Participants will learn information about:

  • How to prevent workplace accidents & injuries including injury management & workers compensation.
  • Understand your rights, responsibilities & role requirements under the law
  • How to read, interpret, identify & report workplace hazards

Requirements:

  • 100 Points of ID is required to enrol into this training
  • Closed in shoes
  • Sun smart clothing (no singlets)

Course Duration:

  • Full day of training

After successful completion of this training you will receive a White Card & Statement of Attainment. Don’t wait for your white card to come in that mail, get it the day you successfully complete the course.
